Introducing the first sketch challenge by Frosted Designs!

Meg & Jamie - the super talented ladies behind Frosted Designs, have appointed each member of the design team a month to prepare a sketch to challenge everybody.

Jamie's kickin' off our first sketch challenge for October with this fun & funky design:

Didn't she do a great job? What fun elements to work with!
Here's my take on that layout:

This uses the Elliott paper line from Scrap Within Reach. I love the funky, bold designs and distressed colors - how perfect can you get for a 2-year-old boy? It also uses a Bazzill Just the Edge Strip, some Close To My Heart chipboard, ink and button, and American Crafts Thickers. The pop dots and kraft cardstock are from Stampin' Up. The chipboard was direct-to-pad inked and then distressed with Cocoa to coordinate with the papers.

Thanks for looking! Be sure to check out Frosted Designs this week to check what all those talented women have been up to - and if you have a little spare time, play with this sketch and post your beautiful work, too!
