Gettin' punchy with it! Practical Scrappers challenge

Lately I've developed somewhat of an obsession with scallops and swirls. I just got the apron lace punch from Fiskars and some swirly Sizzix dies, so I'm in hog heaven!
Our challenge this week at Practical Scrappers was to use fun punches, like butterflies, flowers, and of course, scallops, to create a fun layout or card. Yeah! Just the excuse I needed!

Here's what I came up with:

This layout is a sort of a tribute to the women in my family - particularly on my mom's side. This rare photo of all of us - just the women - was taken a few months ago to celebrate my cousin Ashley's graduation. She's in the middle holding Sophia. The photo also contains my cousin Brittany, aunt Jolene, my mom, me and my aunt Tracey.
As you can see, all of us look a lot alike. But besides our physical resembelence, we have very similar personalities. We're strong and stubborn, but have hearts of gold and are always looking to help others. We live with passion and like to throw caution into the wind. I'm pretty lucky to say this is where I come from.
This layout uses Stampin' Up cardstock and papers from the Blooms and Grow collection from My Mind's Eye. The cardstock title is from the Target dollar spot and the "women" part are Close To My Heart, as is the big pewter brad. The swirls are cut with my Sizzix dies on 3 Bugs in a Rug paper.
Thanks for stopping by!
