Happy Hump Day & Lucky #7

Happy Wednesday, friends! Today I'm sharing a sneak-peek card created with my latest Lucky Girl Crafts kit for my Practical Scrappers challenge this week. This week, we were challenged to create a project with just 7 components. I thought it was a perfect opportunity to create a birthday card for my little girl, because this Saturday, Sophia turns 7!!!
All of the base elements can be found in the August Lucky Girl Crafts kit, Old School Cool
Patterned Papers: Echo Park Paper Co.
Cardstock, Stamps & Ink: Close To My Heart
Digital Stamp: Digi Doodle
Stickers: Pink Paislee
Punches: EK Success
Ribbon: Stash, from July's Lucky Girl kit
For this card, I used some of my patterned paper scraps that were left over after creating 7 layouts with my Lucky Girl August kit - Old School Cool; some left over ribbon, a digital stamp from the July sponsor for Practical Scrappers - Digi Doodles; Water Color Wonder crayons, punches, traditional stamp/ink; and a glittered sticker.
In addition to the 7 fully embellished layouts I created with the latest Lucky Girl kit, I also created 4 cards and an altered canvas layout with my scraps. That means that my projects cost less than $2.50 each!!!
You can check out the rest of the Old School Cool projects starting Sunday, August 1 during our monthly Blog Party! Visit the Lucky Girl DT each day from August 1-3 for kit inspiration & chances to win scrappy RAK! The Blog Party will start on our main blog, http://www.luckygirlcraftkits.blogspot.com/. Hope to see you there!!!
