Stash it away for a rainy day... like today!

I can't believe that I nearly forgot to post my fun layout this week for Practical Scrappers. This past week has been so crazy! We went to Denver last weekend to see the King Tut exhibit at the Denver Art Museum and hang out with my dad, step mom, brother & sister from Kansas City. My kiddos are gone this week, so last night I had a bunch of my closest friends over for a night of scrapping and watching Glee! Man, I really miss that show... I can't wait for Season 2 to start! I slept rotten and rushed to work, so couldn't post first thing this morning. Good thing today is so rainy and cold that I had to run home on my lunch break to change into jeans!

This week's challenge at Practical Scrappers is one of my faves - use your stash!!! Who among us scrapaholics don't have a large stash that we nearly forget what we have? I know I certainly do.

Everything on my layout here is several years old - in fact, I think I bought the papers, ribbons and pearls about the same time these pictures were taken, about 5 years ago! The papers were all in my box that was nearly getting ready to be donated to the kiddos school... whew! Good thing I caught them in time.

I dressed up my older papers with newer designs with the banner, butterflies and pleated (paper) "ribbon". What a fun way to rediscover your crafty stash. Go get your scrap on and be sure to check the other amazing 1-year+ stash projects at Practical Scrappers and play along for some pretty awesome prizes!

Thanks for stopping by -
